We’ve started getting used to reboots, revivals, and sequels, but it’s always extra fun when an original series star reprise their roles.
This time around its Carol Burnett who’s boarded Spectrum Originals’ Mad About You revival.
Burnett will reprise her role as Theresa Stemple, Jamie’s (Helen Hunt) mom, in an upcoming episode. Also starring in the series currently in development is original star Paul Reiser.
The new series is set 20 years after the original series and will explore the Buchman’s (Reiser and Hunt) marriage as new empty-nesters after dropping their daughter Mabel, played by Abby Quinn off at college.
The award-winning actress appeared in 10 episodes of Mad About You, which ran for seven seasons from 1992 to 1999.
