The start of Madonna’s Madame X tour has been delayed.
The iconic singer has decided to push back the first few dates of the tour because “Madame X is a perfectionist.”
According to a representative from Live Nation, the opening performances were delayed due to “highly specialized production elements being delayed.”
“Madame X is a perfectionist and wants to give you the most unique, magical, and musical experience,” Madonna added in a statement. “She underestimated the amount of time it would take to bring this kind of intimate theatrical experience to you and wants it to be perfect!!! Thank you so much for your understanding.”
According to Variety, the tour will now start on Tuesday, September 17 at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, NY.
