Madonna Teases New Album “Madame X”

There’s been a lot of mystery surrounding Madonna’s upcoming studio album, and we finally know what this record is all about. The Queen of Pop finally dropped some major hints about her concept album Madame X.

Madonna announced the project with a cryptic tweet where she introduced the character of a secret agent, who’s traveling around the world, and changing identities and fighting for freedom.

It wasn’t clear if this will be the name of her new album at first but the cat is finally out of the bag. In addition, the release date of the highly-anticipated record is still a mystery, but it should be out sometime this year.

A duet with Colombian reggaeton singer Maluma called “Medellín” will serve as the first single from this album, and Madonna is also supposed to perform one of the new songs at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.

Madame X will be Madonna’s fourteenth studio album, and it serves as a follow-up to her 2015 record Rebel Heart.
