Oscar nominees Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell are getting ready to join forces for the first time, and their next film will be one for the books. The amazing duo will lead Kogonada’s next film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, produced by Imperative Entertainment.
Directed by Kogonada and penned by The Menu writer Seth Reiss, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey has been described as “an imaginative tale of two strangers and the unbelievable journey that connects them.” Plot details are being kept under wraps, but we know that the production will kick off in California this spring.
Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas, and Ryan Friedkin are producing the film for Imperative Entertainment, alongside Reiss and Youree Henley. Kogonada is coming on board as executive producer, along with Ilene Feldman and Original Films’ Ori Eisen.
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey marks Robbie’s first major film role after the global success of Barbie, which is currently in the running for eight Academy Awards, including best picture. As for Farrell, this marks his second collaboration with Kogonada following After Yang, and he’s currently attached to the Apple TV+ series Sugar and Max’s Batman spin-off The Penguin.
