Margot Robbie has signed onto her next film; she will co-star in a new David O. Russel film opposite Christian Bale.
Plot details for the unnamed film have been kept secret, but we do know that Russell will be directing from his own script.
This will be the first film Russell will direct since 2015’s Joy. The executive producer of Joy and American Hustle, Matthew Budman, will be producing Russell’s film.
Margot Robbie is coming off a big year as she played Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and starred in Bombshell. Not only did Robbie receive amazing reviews for her role as Kayla Pospisil in Bombshell, but she also went on to receive her second Oscar nomination for the part.
Currently, Robbie can be seen in theatres in Bird of Prey, in which she reprised her role as Harley Quinn. Also, she just finished production for The Suicide Squad.
