Mariachi superstar Pepe Aguilar’s son, Jose Emiliano Aguilar, was arrested for smuggling 4 Chinese people into the U.S. earlier this month. When the news broke, nobody connected the smuggling driver with a popular Grammy-winning singer.
Jose allegedly had two men and two women in the trunk. Each of them had previously agreed to pay between $3k and $60k when they make it into the country.
Pepe Aguilar’s great work has been recognized and he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
