It has been an extra special Christmas for Mariah Carey.

Multiple outlets confirm that Carey is the first artist to hit No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 in four separate decades.

Now that her holiday hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” tops the domestic chart for a third consecutive week, Carey has ranked atop the Hot 100 in the ’90s, ’00s, ’10s & ‘20s.

The song, originally released in 1994, became Carey’s 19th No. 1, which also gave her the title of most No. 1 singles for a solo artist in history.

Carey had the best response to becoming the first artist to rule the Billboard Hot 100 in four decades.

“Yaaaaaaaaay!!! WE. DID. IT,” she wrote, followed by a bunch of celebration emojis. She then hilariously added, “But…. what’s a decade?”
