It was just a matter of time before Marvel announced the new The Fantastic Four movie, and they finally made things official on Valentine’s Day. Pedro Pascal will lead the star-studded cast of this superhero movie, alongside Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

Pascal’s casting doesn’t come as a huge shocker for Marvel fans since he’s been rumored to play Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic for quite some time. It’s still a true miracle he found time in his busy schedule to lead this project, since he’s also a star of the hit TV shows The Mandalorian and Last of Us.

Pascal will be in pretty good company on the set since he’ll be joined by Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, Mission: Impossible franchise) as Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) as Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear) as Ben Grimm aka the Thing.

Matt Shakman (WandaVision) is on board to direct this film, which hails from writers Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer. The Fantastic Four will be released in theatres on July 25, 2025, as a part of the Phase Six of the MCU. Thos slot was previously reserved for Thunderbolts, which moved to May 2, 2025.
