Marvel movies don’t even need trailers since we’d all show up to see them anyway, but fans are grateful for the tiniest hints of things to come. That’s exactly what they’ve got in the first teaser for Avengers: Endgame.
There’s been a lot of mystery surrounding the most anticipated film of 2019, and we finally got to learn its title, but not much more. The first trailer is as cryptic as they get and, in all honesty, we don’t mind it one bit. Judging by the tagline “part of the journey is the end” it’s going to be an emotional roller-coaster we’ve been waiting for
It opens with an emotional shot of Tony Stark, drifting in space on the brink of his death. It also features several sequences of Captain America and Black Widow trying to pick up the pieces of Thanos’ destruction and Ant-Man providing some much needed comic relief at the very end.
Avengers: Endgame trailer broke the record for the most views within a 24-hour period, previously held by its predecessor Avengers: Infinity War. 289 million internet users tuned in to watch this teaser and we can’t even imagine how many will show up when it finally premieres on 24 April 2019.
