The Captain Marvel actress has been tapped to star in Jason Reitman’s forthcoming Ghostbusters feature.
The forthcoming feature is described as being a sequel to the 1980s movies. Co-writing the script is Reitman Gil Kenan. Reitman will also direct, and all that is known about the remake is centered on a family headed by a single mother.
News of Grace’s casting comes just after it was reported that Carrie Coon is in talks to play the mom and Finn Wolfhard is in negotiations to play her son. Grace will play Coon’s single mother’s daughter.
The feature is due to go before cameras this summer and is dated for a July 10, 2020, release.
