The Grammy-winning rap duo will be reuniting for Starz’s Power spinoff Power Book II.
Clif “Method Man” Smith will play David Maclean, a lawyer who’s interested in NYC’s underworld, but he’s haunted by secrets from his past. Mary J. Blige is set to play the leader of the underworld.
Method Man has had several roles including in Oz, The Wire, The Deuce with Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Franco, and The Last O.G with Tiffany Haddish and Tracy Morgan. He also co-hosted Drop the Mic, co-starred in Method & Red, and played himself in Luke Cage.
The spinoff is set to follow the final season of Courtney Kemp and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s Power which ends on February 9.
