Everyone’s favorite lady mouse is finally getting her a star on the walk of game.
The Disney icon will be honored with a star to celebrate the character’s 90th anniversary in entertainment. She will finally be joining her sweetheart Mickey Mouse who received his star in 1978 in celebration of his 50th anniversary. She will join other beloved Disney characters like Donald Duck, Tinker Bell, Winnie the Pooh and Snow White.
“Minnie Mouse is a woman of the ages and her iconic status makes her a great addition to our Walk of Fame!” stated Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies. “Generations of fans of all ages have been looking forward to her seeing her bright new star.”
Presenting Minnie Mouse with her star will be pop superstar Katy Perry. The unveiling will take place Monday, January 22 at 6834 Hollywood Boulevard in front of Disney’s El Capitan Theatre.
This will mark the Walk of Fame’s 2,627th star.
