Michael Mantenuto, the star of Disney’s sports movie Miracle, was found dead aged 35. As the King County medical examiner’s office in Seattle, Washington stated, he died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Mantenuto worked with Kurt Russel in the film telling the story of the U.S. hockey team’s miraculous victory over the Soviet Union team in the 1980. He played O’Callahan, the fun-loving defense player.
