Rogue One star Donnie Yen has been cast in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Mulan.

Yen will star opposite of Chinese singer-actress Liu Yifei also known as Crystal Liu who has been cast as the titular character.

While the film’s release date has been pushed back by more than a year to March 2020, it will follow the successes of the studio’s live-action reboots such as Cinderella, The Jungle Book and most recently the box-office hit Beauty and the Beast.

The live-action Mulan reboot is penned by Lauren Hynek and Elizabeth Martin is directed by Niki Caro and produced by Chris Bender, Jason Reed, and Jake Weiner.
