Natalie Portman Explores Space in First Trailer for “Lucy in the Sky”

We watched Natalie Portman go on many amazing adventures on the big screen, and the next one is taking her straight to space and back to Earth. The first trailer for her new movie Lucy in the Sky is here and it sees the Oscar winner playing one of her most intriguing characters to date.

This promising project, originally titled Pale Blue Dot, tells the story of an astronaut who begins to slowly unravel and lose touch with reality after returning to Earth from a life-changing mission in space.

Lucy in the Sky is loosely based on the life of NASA astronaut Lisa Nowak. She made headlines in 2007 after she tried to kidnap a woman who was romantically involved with her ex-boyfriend and fellow astronaut William Oefelein.

This promising space drama should premiere later this year, and it also stars Dan Stevens, Jon Hamm, Zazie Beetz, and Ellen Burstyn. It’s a directorial debut of filmmaker Noah Hawley, the mastermind behind critically acclaimed TV shows Fargo and Legion.
