We’re getting used to The White Lotus bringing back beloved characters, and one of the fan favorites will return in Season 3. The Emmy-nominated actress Natasha Rothwell will return in the upcoming season of the acclaimed anthology series, set to take place in Thailand.
Rothwell is set to reprise her Emmy-nominated role as Belinda Lindsey, who served as the spa manager of the Hawaiian White Lotus resort in the first season. She struck a friendship with Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya, but their relationship fell apart after she offered to help her to open her own wellness business, only to break her promise.
Rothwell’s return fits into the story for Season 3 since The White Lotus creator Mike White previously revealed it would offer “a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality.”
The questions about Rothwell’s potential return emerged as soon as Season 2 was announced, and she made it clear that she would be open to playing Belinda again.
“I honestly can’t wait to watch, but I’m so far away from the epicenter of decision-making. I love Mike and I love the crew and the cast so much. And I mean, if Belinda ever circled back around, I’d jump at the opportunity, but I don’t think that’s the plan,” the actress told The Daily Beast.
