It has been confirmed that Netflix has picked up movie rights to the anti-superhero genre film titled Super-Normal.
Daisy Ridley, Luke Evans, and Josh Gad are set to star in the movie, with Gad producing the project as well alongside Dan Lin (Lego Movie.) Writing the script are Moana contributors Aaron and Jordan Kandell.
Gad’s original idea for the script was developed by the Kandell sibling team, describing the movie as a subversive take on the superhero genre.
Gad appeared with Ridley in Murder on the Orient Express and with Evans on the live-action Beauty and the Beast. Ridley will be seen next in the upcoming installment of the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, while Evans most recently appeared in Professor Marson and the Wonder Women.
No director or release date has been announced Super-Normal.
