Netflix bosses just gave fans of their hit show Big Mouth a good reason to smile. The animated series is officially getting another season, which will be its third.
This unconventional cartoon follows a group of teens as they navigate their way through the wonders and horrors of puberty. It features the vocal talents of John Mulaney, Maya Rudolph, Jenny Slate, Jordan Peele and show’s co-creator Nick Kroll.
the first season of Big Mouth came out back in 2017, and the show quickly earned small, but passionate fan following. Masterminds behind it have proven they’re still on the top of their game with Season 2, which received critical acclaim.
Even before Netflix announced their decisions, co-creator Andrew Goldberg expressed his hope they’ll be able to bring the show back, since there’s so much left to explore.
“We still have a whole whiteboard with different topics about puberty that we want to get to. Puberty is a dramatic point of life where everything is in such flux and everything seems like the most important thing in the world,” said Goldberg.
