Netflix Cancels “The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell”

No more delightful morbid creations!

Netflix has pulled the plug on The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell, which means that the part DIY show and part scripted reality will not return for a second season.

Created by Christine McConnell, The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell, starred the titular character and her gang of adorable critters, Rose the reanimated raccoon, a friendly werewolf named Edgar and Rankle the mummified Egyptian cat. McConnell took viewers inside her mansion full of monsters and ghosts, where she created morbid looking desserts.

The creative crafting show was produced by Netflix, Wilshire Studios and The Henson Alternative.

“I’m very sad to say, I’ve been told there won’t be another season of The Curious Creations,” McConnell tweeted Tuesday.Thank you to everyone who watched and has supported the series. Thank you to Henson, Wilshire, Netflix and the amazing people who made the show with me. I’m so grateful.”

The first season of The Curious Creations, which consisted of six half-hour episodes, is still available for streaming
