Netflix axed all of its Marvel shows earlier this year, and Jessica Jones is the last one standing. This series is wrapping up this summer, and the streaming giant recently shared the first teaser, new images, and release date.
The final season will start streaming on June 14th, and it will see Jessica Jones and Trish Walker trying to take down a super-intelligent sociopath while repairing their fractured friendship. Krysten Ritter and Rachael Taylor will return to their respective roles.
Netflix pulled the plug on this show back in February, shortly after doing the same with Iron Fist, Daredevil, Luke Cage and The Punisher. Ritter wrote a heartfelt message on Instagram after the show’s cancellation, thanking cast and crew for making this experience unforgettable.
“I love these people to the moon and back. It has been a dream to play Jessica alongside my amazing cast and the best crew in the business for these past 5 years. I am so grateful for every second of it,” wrote the actress.
