The first trailer for Netflix’s figure skating drama Spinning Out dropped Tuesday.
The first look at the figure-skating drama is full of ice-skating and angry people.
Spinning Out follows Kaya Scodelario’s Kat Baker, a rising talent in the single-skater arena who reluctantly pairs up after suffering a massive fall. She teams up with bad-boy skater, Justin Davis, played by Evan Roderick, and risks exposing a fiercely kept secret that has the potential to unravel her entire life.
“I’m used to skating alone. I need time to adjust, ” Kat tells her new partner in the trailer.
In addition to Scodelario and Roderick, Spinning Out stars January Jones, Willow Shields, Amanda Zhou, Sarah Wright Olsen, and Svetlana Efremova.
The 10-episode series is set to debut on January 1, 2020.
