Netflix Releases “Stranger Things 3” Teaser!

Something huge is coming to Hawkins and it looks like it might include some retail therapy!

Creatures like the Demogorgon or the Shadow Monster or even the interdimensional portal aren’t going to stop teens in Hawkins, Indiana from hanging out at their local mall.

Netflix is officially started to amp up fans, dropping the first teaser for its supernatural hit series. The video is advertising the latest addition to the town of Stranger Things, a fictional shopping center called the Starcourt Mall. The mall’s food court also includes a new dessert destination, the Scoops Ahoy, which not only employs Steve (Joe Keery) and a new character named Robin played by Maya Hawke.

According to IndieWire Hawke’s character is described as an “alternative girl who is equal parts sharp and playful.” The cast of season three will also include Jake Busey as Bruce, a journalist, and Cary Elwes as Mayor Kline.

The video also confirmes some other news with the final tagline reading “coming next summer.” This means that fans can expect the third season of the series to return to the streaming giant in 2019.

Seasons one and two of Stranger Things are currently streaming on Netflix.
