Netflix Renewed “Locke & Key” For Season 2

Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, and Jackson Robert Scott in "Locke & Key"

The Locke siblings will be coming back to Netflix for a second season.

Locke & Key, a supernatural horror drama, debuted on the platform in February and it’s based on the IDW Publishing comic book franchise of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.

The series is about three siblings, Tyler (Connor Jessup), Kinsey (Emilia Jones), and Bode (Jackson Robert Scott), who after their father is murdered, move to their ancestral home in Massachusetts to find out the house has magical keys that give the powers and abilities. But, a devious demon also wants access to the keys and will do whatever it takes to get them.

In the second season, the stakes will be even higher for the Locke siblings as they take on their roles as the Keepers of the Keys.

The series also stars Darby Stanchfield, Laysla De Oliveira, Aaron Ashmore, Petrice Jones, and Griffin Gluck.

“We are thrilled to be continuing the journey of ‘Locke & Key’ alongside all of our amazing collaborators,” executive producers and co-showrunners Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill said in a statement.
