Netflix Sets Premiere Date For Season 2 of “Sex Education”

We’ve got great news Sex Education fans! 

Netflix has announced the premiere date of the second season of its hit British comedy — all eight episodes of the season will launch on the streaming service January 17, 2020. 

The debut date was revealed in a tweet by Netflix UK & Ireland on Monday, writing, “Get in losers, the new term is starting.”

Season two will see Asa Butterfield’s Otis Milburn attempting to master his newly discovered sexual urges, while at the same time, Moordale Secondary is in the throes of a Chlamydia outbreak. 

Sex Education also stars Gillian Anderson, Emma Mackey, Aimee Lou Woods, Patricia Allison, Connor Swindells, and Ncuti Gatwa. New characters for season 2 include talented academic student Viv (Chinenye Ezeudu), new student Rahim (Sami Outalbali), and Isaac (George Robinson), who moves into Maeve’s caravan park.

The first season is currently available to stream on Netflix.
