We can count on Never Have I Ever to bring some drama our way every time a new season premieres, and the next one won’t be lacking it. Netflix dropped a trailer for Season 3 ahead of its premiere in two weeks, and things are about to get pretty messy.
Never Have I Ever centers on a first-generation Indian-American teenager Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), as she tries to navigate the everyday pressures of high school drama. The last season centered on a messy love triangle between Devi, Paxton (Darren Barnet), and Ben (Jaren Lewison), but she ended up with Paxon by the end of the season.
Season 3 will show her navigating her new relationship and the status of the school’s new Queen B… but that’s just the beginning. Another love triangle might be brewing, as the trailer introduced a potential new love interest Des (Anirudh Pisharody).
Poorna Jagannathan, Jaren Lewison, Richa Moorjani, Ramona Young, Lee Rodriguez, and Megan Suri are also expected to return to their roles from the previous seasons, with the tennis icon John McEnroe narrating the show. Season 3 will premiere on Netflix on August 12 and it will be followed by the fourth and final season in 2023.
