Netflix’s “Dead to Me” Finds its Director

Netflix’s dark comedy series Dead to Me has found its director.

Amy York Rubin has been tapped to direct the series’ pilot and second episode.

Set to co-star in the half-hour dark comedy series are James Marsden and Ed Asner, alongside Linda Cardellini and Christina Applegate.

The series is about a powerful friendship that blossoms between Jen (Applegate), a tightly wound widow, and Judy (Cardellini), a free spirit with a shocking secret.
