Three years after the pop icon’s death, Georges Michael’s estate brings fans new music.
Micheal’s posthumous new single is here, released just days ahead of the film Last Christmas premieres.
The previously unheard song, titled “This Is How (We Want You To Get High),” was unveiled Wednesday. The single was recorded during Michael’s final studio sessions. It is the first piece of music of Micheal to be released in seven years.
Michael’s sisters, father, and longtime manager, David Austin said in a statement: “This new track we proudly send as his gift to you this season to bring you all love and festive joy…Whoever you worship…Whoever you love….”
Last Christmas is devoted to Michael’s entire discography. It is slated for release across the US and UK on November 15. The film was co-written by Emma Thompson and stars Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding.
