New Updates in Taylor Swift Trial

A big win for Taylor Swift as federal judge dismisses Colorado DJ David Mueller’s claim for $3 million in damages from the singer.

This major legal victory happened on Friday as judge said Mueller could not prove that the pop star ruined his career due to the allegations she has made against him. A subsequent result of this lack of evidence means that Swift will not be held liable for the DJ’s later firing from KYGO radio station. In total, 4 out of the 5 claims made by Mueller were dismissed.

The Grammy winner’s countersuit will go ahead to jury deliberation, where Swift is asking $1 in damages.

Close friend and Girls creator Lena Dunham took to social media in support of Swift praising her fierceness saying that she is serving as a powerful examples to  others.

Swift has yet to make a public comment regarding the ruling.
