Nico Tortorella joins the forthcoming third Walking Dead TV series.
The third installment of The Walking Dead franchise has added the Younger star to its cast. He joins previously announced Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Annet Mahendru and Aliyah Royale.
The spinoff series of AMC’s hit zombie franchise will “focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever.” Tortorella is set to play Felix “an honorable man of his word who isn’t afraid to fight for others’ safety and acceptance.”
Tortorella currently stars as Josh on TVLand’s hit sitcom Younger, which was recently renewed by the network for a seventh season. His other credits include The Following and Make It or Break It as well as films like Scream 4 and Odd Thomas.
