Nicole Kidman has landed her next television gig.
Multiple outlets report that the Big Little Lies actress has been tapped to play one of the two leads in the forthcoming adaptation of Janelle Brown’s novel Pretty Things at Amazon, produced under the Kidman’s Blossom Films production company.
It is reported that the streamer won the rights to the novel following a highly competitive bid race with multiple bidders.
The novel follows “two wildly different women—one a grifter, the other an heiress—brought together by the scam of a lifetime.”
Brown is on board the project and is set to adapt the novel for the small screen with director Reed Morano attached to helm the series.
