The NSYNC reunion was a long time coming, and they finally made things official! The members of the iconic ’90s boy band teased the release of “Better Place”, their first song in over two decades, set to be featured in the animated movie Trolls Band Together.

The snippet of “Better Place” was featured in a new trailer for Trolls Band Together, but it was obvious that the members of NSYNC were gearing up for a reunion long before this moment. It all started with a series of posters for this animated movie, which featured the first letter of the NSYNC logo.

As if that wasn’t enough, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick made a surprise appearance at this year’s MTV VMAs. Even though they only presented an award to Taylor Swift, seeing them together on the same stage was enough to get us excited!

“Better Place” will be released on September 29, and it’s a huge deal for the band’s fans. Even though they reunited occasionally over the years, including at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards during Timberlake’s Video Vanguard Award medley performance, this will mark their first new song together since the release of their fourth studio album Celebrity in 2001.
