Adam & Eve has just added a supergirl to its cast!
Odette Annable has been tapped to star as the female lead in the Fox’s comedy pilot. The single-camera series will be directed by Caire Scanlon from a script penned by Jon Beckerman.
According to Deadline, Adam & Eve follows the titular couple at three stages of their relationship — young and passionate, middle-aged with kids, and navigating retirement. It’s a comedy about the big questions: What makes a marriage last? Do people ever really change? And, after 40 years together, why can’t we pick a place for dinner without it turning into a whole, you know, thing?
Beckerman will also executive produce alongside the Avanti Group’s Claude Meunier and Luc Wiseman. 20th Century Fox TV. will produce.
