One Love Manchester Concert Raises $3.5 Million And Counting

One Love Manchester benefit concert initiated by Ariana Grande has raised over $3.5 million so far for the families of the victims of the terrorist attack that happened in that city on May 22.

Besides the money from concert tickets, there are other ways people can donate to help the victims’ families. As Huffington Post reported, the British Red Cross announced that people who sent text messages containing the word “Love” to 70507 collected $2.7 during the benefit concert. Another $600,000 were raised through online donations.

The We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, started by the Manchester City Council and the British Red Cross, has already raised over $12 million from these various sources.
