Orlando Bloom Shares his Journey in Bangladesh

Being a father changed Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom, telling ET that fatherhood came with a new sense of responsibility and compassion.

40-year-old Bloom has been a UNICEF Global Ambassador since 2009. Since then he has traveled all over the world. After visiting underprivileged children in Africa earlier this year, Bloom took to Instagram to share his experiences and thoughts in order to raise awareness and encourage donations.

Sharing photos from his current trip to Bangladesh, where he spent time with locals in their communities, he wrote: “i like to think i’m well traveled… i know i’ve been blessed to see and witness much more than most for which i’m grateful… the level of poverty and despair and yet remarkable human resistance here is astounding… #bangladesh #love #life #open & #humbled by #unicef #all they do for the #children.”

These photos are a sneak peek into Bloom’s giving back to the underprivileged and his upcoming documentary with UNICEF.
