“Outer Banks” Gets Early Season 4 Renewal

Outer Banks is coming back for its third season next week and its future looks bright! Before even seeing how the show’s upcoming season will perform, Netflix gave this adventure mystery series an early Season 4 renewal.

Outer Banks centers on two rival groups of teens in a coastal town along the Outer Banks of North Carolina and a treasure hunt that creates an even bigger divide between them. The third season will go in a different direction and see the characters washed ashore on a desert island they call “Poguelandia”

The show’s creative team and cast, including Chase Stokes (John B.), Madelyn Cline (Sarah), Madison Bailey (Kiara), Jonathan Daviss (Pope), Carlacia Grant (Cleo), Rudy Pankow (JJ), Austin North (Topper), and Drew Starkey (Rafe) – united for a the Poguelandia Fan Event in Huntington Beach, California on Saturday, where the show’s renewal was announced.

The show’s co-creators, showrunners, and executive producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke confirmed the show’s renewal and thanked Netflix, their cast, and the amazing fans for making this happen.

“Seeing Poguelandia come to life was nothing short of spectacular. The Pogues are enjoying an adventure of a lifetime, and we now get to map out more twists and turns as the joyride continues into season four of Outer Banks,” said the trio in a statement.

Season 3 of Outer Banks will feature a total of ten episodes, set to premiere on Netflix on February 23.
