Amazing news Outlander fans! it’s time to celebrate because your favorite show has just been renewed for two more seasons!
The news that the show will continue to seasons five and six was confirmed by Starz.
“Fans can rest assured their beloved Claire and Jamie will be back facing new challenges, adversaries and adventures in seasons five and six as we delve into American history and continue the story of the Frasers as they settle in the New World,” Starz CEO Chris Albrecht said in statement.
Outlander is currently shooting on location in Scotland for its 13-episode fourth season which is based on the fourth book in Diana Gabaldon’s series, Drums of Autumn.
Season five and six will consist of 12 episodes each and will be based on the fifth and sixth books in the series, The Fiery Cross and A Breath of Snow and Ashes respectively.
Season four is set to premiere in November 2018.
