Paramount to Honor Patrick Swayze With New Documentary

Paramount Network has picked up a Patrick Swayze documentary. 

The life and legacy of Swayze will be celebrated in a forthcoming documentary titled I Am Patrick Swayze. 

The film, which is set to premiere on what would have been Swayze’s 67th birthday, will dive into the life of the man who would star in some of Hollywood’s most popular films. According to Deadline, the doc will feature interviews with Swayze’s “friends and loved ones,” including wife Lisa Niemi, brother Don Swayze and co-stars Sam Elliott, Jennifer Grey, C. Thomas Howell, Rob Lowe, Kelly Lynch, Demi Moore, Lori Petty, and Marshall R. Teague.

The feature is directed by Adrian Buitenhuis. 

I Am Patrick Swayze will premiere on August 18.
