Paul Rudd to Star in Netflix Series “Living With Yourself”

Paul Rudd has been tapped to topline the Netflix comedy series Living With Yourself.

The new comedy series is helmed by the directors of Little Miss Sunshine, Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris.

Rudd will take on a dual role in the eight-episode series which tells the story of a man struggling with his life who undergoes a novel treatment to become a better person. He then finds he’s been replaced by a new and improved version of himself.

The series was created by Timothy Greenberg, who will also serve as executive producer and showrunner and Dayton and Faris will direct all eight episodes. Anthony Bregman and Jeff Stern will produce through their Likely Story banner.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Living With Yourself was originally ordered to pilot at IFC in February 2017 (without Rudd). With the budget being not was IFC envisioned, the streaming service swooped in and snapped up the series.
