2020 is going to be a big year for Pearl Jam.
The band confirmed it has a new album coming this spring and that they are going on tour.
Gigaton is expected to drop March 27 via Monkeywrench/Republic. Pearl Jam produced the record with Josh Evans.
“Making this record was a long journey,” Lead guitarist Mike McCready shared on the group’s official website. “It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness, and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”
A week before the new album arrives, the band will embark on a 30-date tour across North America, Europe, and the UK. The tour kicks off on March 18 in Toronto, Ontario, ending July 23 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
