The Voice coach and a national superstar, Blake Shelton, is officially the sexiest man alive for the year 2017.
Reacting to the news that he’s been chosen for this prestigious annual title by People, Shelton humbly said: “Y’all must be running out of people. Like, wow, we’re down to somebody who is somewhat symmetrical.”
According to Shelton, it was his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, who convinced him to accept the honor. “She goes, ‘Listen to me, you’re going to regret this for the rest of your life if you don’t take this gift and just live in the moment,” Shelton said.
Adam Levine, Shelton’s fellow Voice coach has received the same honor in 2013.
