With no comment from with Ariana Grande or Pete Davidson, fans started questioning whether the engagement rumors were legit or not.
Days after the news broke, the engagement was officially confirmed by Davidson when he told Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night that the rumors were indeed true.
The Tonight Show host told Davidson that he “didn’t have to get engaged to Ariana Grande to come on [the] show,” to which the funnyman replied, “But I did. though.” Smiling from ear to ear he added, “I feel like I won a contest.”
The Saturday Night Live cast member continued saying that since talk of the engagement began, things have gotten a little crazy walking down the street when men tipping their hats when they walk past him.
The couple reportedly got engaged less than a month after their romance was revealed. The two hinted their engagement on social media, with Grande liking posts from fans congratulating her on her engagement.
