Phoenix Announce New Book

The French synth-pop band has a new book for mega fans.

The new book announced by the group is titled Phoenix: Liberté, Égalité, Phoenix! and is due out this fall per Rolling Stone. The forthcoming book coincides with the band’s 30th anniversary.

The book is described as a “superfan’s chronicle of the evolution of a band.” According to the outlet, it will feature original interviews conducted by The Guardian deputy music editor Laura Snapes as well as drawing on the members’ personal archives including photos, music, etc.

The book will mark two additional anniversaries for guitarist and keyboard player Laurent Brancowitz, singer Thomas Mars, bassist Deck d’Arcy and guitarist Christian Mazzalai — the 20th anniversary of their debut Untitled and the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.

Phoenix: Liberté, Égalité, Phoenix! drops October 15.
