Pink has been dropping one smash hit after another for the last 15 years, and she’s getting some well-deserved recognition for her hard work. The three-time Grammy winner finally got her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Pink took a moment to look back at her impressive career during her powerful speech and reminded everyone in attendance how important it is to follow your own path.
“There is a power in believing in yourself – you may not be the best that ever did it, you may not be the prettiest or the tallest or the funniest or the most talented or whatever you tell yourself that you’re not. If you’re stubborn and you don’t give up and you work really hard – no one else can ever be you,” said the singer.
Several of her close friends, including Kerri Kenney and Ellen DeGeneres, were in attendance during the ceremony, but she found the biggest support in the members of her family who showed up to share this special moment with her.
“My whole family is here and that makes it real… To my husband, I literally would not be standing up here if it wasn’t for you, so never change. And to my children, Willow Sage and Jameson Moon, you guys are my stars and I would never shine without you,” said Pink.
