“Preacher” to End With Season 4

The AMC drama will end after Season 4.

Multiple outlets confirm that Preacher has been cancelled.

The series was based on the popular comic book franchise by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, hailed from Seth Roger and Evan Goldberg. The series followed West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), his ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga), and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) as they embark on a road trip to find God and are thrust into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.

Rogan revealed the news on social media writing, “The fourth and final season of Preacher is coming. It’s been a wild ride. Thank you all.”

The series also starred Ian Coletti, Graham McTavish, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett, Betty Buckley, and Colin Cunningham.

Preacher debuted in May 2016 and was renewed for a fourth season last November.
