Prince Harry Sings at “Hamilton”

And the Prince steals the show!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a gala performance of Hamilton in support of Sentebale, a charity founded by the Prince in 2006. But Harry decided that the title of theatergoer simply won’t do.

After watching the show at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London, the Prince took to the stage and made his musical debut! First thanking the cast and crew, Harry sang the first line of fan-favorite “You’ll Be Back,” sung by the character King George III.

Despite keeping it very short — he did only sing the first two words! — the Prince immediately stole the show and cast, crew and audience were overfilled with delight.

Lucky for those who weren’t lucky enough to attend the gala performance, Kensington Palace tweeted a short video of the moment, which was then retweeted by creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, who added the caption, “King George III’s great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson The Duke of Sussex sang a few bars tonight.”

Harry wasn’t the only one to steal the show. The Duchess also made headlines wearing a black Judith & Charles tuxedo mini dress. Many lauded Meghan’s unique style (which again broke protocol as she skipped the nude pair of tights!).
