Quentin Tarantino Casts Maya Hawke and Lena Dunham For His Next Film

Lena Dunham and Uma Thurman’s daughter, Maya Hawke have joined the cast of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. 

The star-studded film is set against the backdrop of the Manson Family murders. The duo will be joining the already announced cast including Leonardo DiCaprio who will play Rick Dalton, former star of a western TV series and Brad Pitt who will play his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth. Back in April Tarantino said that DiCaprio and Pitt will be “the most exciting dynamic star duo since Paul Newman and Robert Redford.”

Margot Robbie, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Emile Hirsch, Clifton Collins Jr., Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Keith Jefferson, and Nicholas Hammond will round out the cast.

It has been quite a year for Hawke who has been tapped to appear in season three of the hit supernatural series Stranger Things and the TV miniseries Little Women. 

According to Variety Dunham will be playing a character named Gypsy and Hawke has been cast as the fictional character Flower Child. This will be Dunham’s first major feature film role. 

Once Upon a Time In Hollywood is set to premiere July 26, 2019.
