Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne tied the knot on Saturday in front of family and friends in Travis, native state, Hawaii, according to Daily Mail.
Travis shared a photo of their wedding day, writing, “What an amazing day!! She is so perfect in every way! She makes me so happy! She is my other half! I Love You @rondarousey #browsey2017”
According to E! News, the 30-year-old UFC fighter wore a Harper couture bridal gown from Galia Lahav’s bridal couture collection, “Le Secret Royal.” The designer reveals, “The design was alternated a bit for Ronda’s desire, but was a perfect fit to begin with.”
The two UFC stars have done their best to keep their relationship private and they remained silent about their wedding. “I don’t talk about my personal life much. That’s why it’s called ,personal life,'” Ronda recently told ESPN after rumors began buzzing around that the two were a couple back in 2015.
“I’ve really enjoyed the time we have spent together and getting to know one another and that’s all I’m going to say about it.”
Shortly thereafter, Travis explained the status of their relationship. “Dating is for children. Dating is for kids. Ronda and I started talking throughout the summer and I’ll say now that we are together.”
The couple revealed their engagement in April after Travis proposed during their vacation in New Zealand. The former UFC bantamweight champion recalled the memorable moment Travis popped the question during her appearance on Live with Kelly & Ryan. “It was actually after heavy rain and we were under this waterfall,” she shared. “Apparently he had this whole speech prepared but it just went down into bullet points in the moment.”
“So he pulls out the ring and I’m already like, “Uh huh” before he even says anything. It’s like, “Okay, we’re in New Zealand, we’re under a waterfall, will you marry me?”‘
Their wedding date was mentioned on Friday last week by UFC president Dana White, when he was discussing the upcoming much-anticipated fight between Floyd Mayweather and Connor McGregor with Rich Eisen on his show.
Ronda has invited Dana to attend their wedding but obviously he wasn’t able to attend but confessed that he had agreed to go before he knew the date of the wedding.
“Ronda Rousey gets married tomorrow,” he said to the host. “Tomorrow is her wedding. She’s in a good place, she’s really happy and she hasn’t announced her retirement or anything like that, but she’s focusing on this wedding.”
“She gets married [tomorrow], of all the days,” he added. “She was like, “I’m getting married. . . . Will you come to the wedding?” I said, “Absolutely.” The wedding’s tomorrow.”
This is Ronda’s first marriage and second for Travis who was previously married to fitness model Jenna Renee Webb, Daily Mail reports.
