Rose Leslie Will Not Be Returning to “The Good Fight”

Rose Leslie will not be back for season 4 of The Good Fight.

The 32-year-old actress, who played lawyer Maia Rindell, has exited the CBS All Access courtroom drama. She appeared in the first three seasons of the series.

News of Leslie’s departure was confirmed by creators Robert and Michelle King while speaking to at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday. The duo told TVLine that the previous season’s final episode was her “sendoff.” This will kind of make sense to The Good Fight fans as the season 3 finale saw Maia head off to Washington DC to launch a new firm with Michael Sheen’s Roland Blum.

Leslie joins two other original cast-mates who are leaving the show — Justin Bartha and Erica Tazel. Staying abroad for the forthcoming season are Audra McDonald, Michael Boatman, and Nyambi Nyambi.

The Good Fight‘s 10-episode fourth season is slated for next year.
