Ryan Gosling has given us one of the most delightful songs from the Barbie soundtrack with “I’m Just Ken”—and there’s more where that came from! The Canadian superstar welcomed the holiday season by releasing an EP with several new versions of the beloved viral hit.

Written and produced by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, “I’m Just Ken” created a lot of buzz for Barbie when it was first released. It was featured in one of the film’s most memorable scenes and delivered some of the most hilarious lyrics on the entire soundtrack.

Gosling and Ronson welcomed the holiday season by releasing Ken the EP, which features several new versions of this catchy bop. In addition to the original version, this mini-album also features a festive “Merry Kristmas Barbie” remix, an acoustic “In My Feelings” remix, and a Purple Disco Machine remix.

The release of Ken the EP is most likely another attempt of the Barbie marketing team to push this song for an Oscar nomination in the best original song field. “I’m Just Ken” will most likely score a nod since it’s already in the running for a Grammy and Golden Globe in the same category, but it will have to beat tough competition in Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” to take the trophy home.
