Each episode of this ABC show will feature a family of four members who is asked to perform a series of challenges. So what’s the catch? As the title of the show suggests, they’ll be told what not to do while performing the challenge – “don’t laugh”, “don’t slip” or “don’t scream”.

Ryan Reynolds explained he was attracted to this project because the word “don’t” followed him for years, and he can’t wait to see how others face it.

“All my life, the word ‘don’t’ has tortured me. From ‘don’t curse’ to ‘don’t play ball in the house’ to ‘don’t eat the crab salad you left in the sun for three days.’ I cannot wait for my personal trauma to become the next great ABC family show,” said the actor in an official announcement.
